With 20 years of experience in small, medium, and large organisations across private and public sectors, Jay specialises in business transformations.

Jay was formally the Chief People Officer at Guzman y Gomez (GYG) and was part of the executive team that helped list GYG into the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). In his role at GYG, he set up the people function, the strategy and workplan for GYG leading into the ASX listing and post the listing.

Jay also worked as a GM at Coates (Formerly Coates Hire), Australia’s largest equipment hire business prior to GYG. In his time at Coates, he helped redesign the Coates branch network to improve efficiency through a hub and spoke model, increased Coates Training revenue by 250% in FY23, remodelled the talent acquisition function through new tech platform and reduced time to fill by 10%.

Jay’s public sector experience includes Director roles leading the merger of Transport for NSW and RMS impacting 30,000 employees, creating the roadmap to establish a new state-owned corporation, remodelling numerous service delivery models and project managing implementations of multiple ERP systems.

Jay is tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Business and has completed the Company Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Diploma of Project Management and Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
